A replica of my 2009 DOTY award winning baby, Lindy, is now available. I have made a limited edition of only 10 worldwide. I was initially going to make more,
but it was very labor intense and time consuming for me to make each special babe as perfect as I humanly could; plus, I do have to get back to sculpting new babes.
Every doll is individually poured and then sanded. She has been reproduced in a resin which is smooth as silk to the touch. If you do see any microscopic imperfections
please note; that this is the nature of art and in no way diminishes the beauty of the doll
She is 10 inches long from the top of her head to her tiny toes, this is with legs bent. I have hand painted baby Lindy paying attention to every little crease
and giving her real looking nails. Her hair is painted on one thin stroke at a time and then sealed. Lindy’s wee faux suede body is fully jointed and filled with
downy soft fiberfill and polly pellets. She is so very easy to pose and when you hold her she will melt into your hands and your heart.
Her soft flannel baby print outfit was custom made by me and has wonderful detail from the tiny buttons on the back to the adorning baby lace. When I cut the patterns
I was careful to be sure each outfit ended up with the heart on the front yoke. I commissioned, Rhonda from Knit Knacks from DownUnder, in New Zealand to knit each and every hat which I designed just
for Lindy.
Baby Lindy will come to you sleeping soundly in her soft pink fleece blanket with her very first baby toys, birth certificate and certificate of authenticity signed by me.
